Are you wondering what does pencil and pinch pleat mean when it comes to curtains? Read on for more information!
Pencil pleat headingPencil Pleat heading is a gathered heading allowing you to draw (expand or reduce) the width of the curtain to suit your window width. |
Pinch pleat headingAs compared to the pencil pleat, pinch pleat gives a more tailored finish, creating a formal look. As shown in the image below, the actual pleat is a triple pinch - It has 3 pleats then a space. Unlike pencil pleat curtains, please note that pinch pleat curtains cannot be adjusted to fit the windows. They come finished in tailored width sizes such as 120, 180, 240 and 300. If your measurements do not meet these requirements, you should consider purchasing our pencil pleat curtains where you are able to expand or reduce the width. We offer FREE shipping Australia wide!
